The Reality of "Living the Dream." Effortless.

Ike's Boxing Gym in Paterson NJ was filled with alot of young talent. Some of the kids would talk about their goals and I felt like they were a little delusional, but I would never shoot down anyone's dream. No matter how quacked out they sounded.

Performance Statement

Relax. Explode. Relax. Explode. That's what I tell myself every time I wai in the corners when sealing the ring. The significance of  competing to me is a reflection of your personality, especially in that moment. In or out of the ring, I try to stay as relaxed as possible by focusing on being in the moment.

13 Life Lessons from 2013

2013 was one of those years in my life were I decided to eagerly make huge changes. As we crossed into the new year I like to look back and reflect on some life lessons I learned. Here are 13 Life Lessons from 2013.

1. Always Have a Plan B,C,D, & X,Y,Z
Life is full of other chances. You won't always get a 2nd chance shortly after the first failed attempt, but if we can manage to recognize when the opportunity is approaching we will be better equipped.

Fight Night Check list

Quitting My 9-5

Had to go full blown MacGyver on my hooptie ride.
Quitting my job was by far the scariest and greatest moment in my life, so far. I was working as an electrician for a small, non union, but extremely busy company.

I was the company bitch! You know, that guy who does all the shitty work. A typical day would consist of spilling dirt on my face as I drill holes, a sore back from bending conduit and digging, contorting my body so that I can can fit in crawl spaces and inflamed wrist from splicing and hammering all day.

Thoughts on Raja Fight Vs Daniel Hadfield Sept/1/13

Sept 1st 2013 Rajadamnerm Stadium
I fought Daniel Hadfield (England) from 13 Coins Gym. He fought one of my team mates about a month ago and supposedly from what my team mates were saying it was a pretty even match until Hadfield KOed him in the 4th round with knees to the body. My coach thought we would make a great match up, so he booked us to fight on Sept 1st, Raja Stadium at 74 kg (163 lbs).

Deloading for Fight Training

Green means GO, GO, GO!
I'm schedule to fight at Lumphini July 13th at 74 kg. I'm currently weighing a chubby 80.6 kg, which I'm planning to lose at a steady rate so as to not suffer with a sauna suit. As of now I'm using this week up until June 24th for maintenance training or commonly known to weight lifters as deload week (1).
